This upgraded RS engine mount kit gives you everything you need to replace your worn or too-compliant factory hydraulic engine mounts for higher performance and better control. While the hydraulic mounts offer a smooth and comfortable driving experience they allow more engine and drivetrain movement than is ideal for on track or street performance driving.

The factory Porsche RS engine mounts feature a high-durometer solid rubber construction which helps to control drivetrain movement more effectively, leading to a sharper, more direct and better controlled driving experience. Limiting engine and drivetrain movement with these more firm RS mounts will add some additional noise, vibration and harshness compared to the stock mounts, but most of our customers don't consider them overly harsh or adding objectionable noise vibration or harshness. Typically there is a little more vibration at idle, and a slight increase in general engine and transmission noise depending on the RPM, load and conditions.

This is a subjective area so we do recommend really paying attention to what sort of driving experience you want from your Porsche before ordering, but for a slight trade off in comfort the RS mounts offer a significantly more controlled and sporty driving experience.
